Data Against Feminicide
For the first Data Against Feminicide gathering in 2020, we set the objective of getting to know and introduce to each other, the people and organizations we had been identifying through our research and work on the use of data to understand and counter feminicide. In the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, we organized an online event in three stages, setting the scene sessions to establish a common base to discuss the topic, working together sessions to begin imagining possible future collaborations, and series of workshops for hands-on work on related subjects. To our surprise, more than 500 people from all over the world signed up.
